Feel Present and Feel Connected
Imagine that you are not present at a place but you have some screen in front of you from which talks a person in the same way as he or she would do if he or she were actually present with you at that place. The effect of the technology that you are using is such that the appearance of that person on screen is absolutely real. Such stimuli are provided that it becomes difficult to feel that that person is not there with you, at your location. This is what telepresence is all about. It brings people closer and nearer.

The actions, movements, voice and even position etc of the user is duplicated and transferred in this process. By transfer, we mean transmitted, in scientific terms. The transfer or transmit of such senses is taking place on a two way transmission line and not only at one side. This means that both the users feel connected and feel the presence of the other person who is situated in some other remote part of the country or continent or even the big world. Some form of presence is also felt while talking on the simple telephone. Users don’t feel that they are talking to non living object.
